MetLife Insurance
Eligible Members paying the $29 dues rate have the MetLife Insurance benefit. The monthly premium of $6 is included in the $29. The benefit includes $10,000 Life Insurance, $10,000 Accidental Death and Dismemberment, and $1,500 per month long-term disability. Once a member retires or reaches age 65, they are no longer eligible for this benefit and no longer pay the $6 monthly premium.
The Long-Term Disability benefit has a 6-month waiting period (kicks in after short-term disability expires). Please inquire about applying 1-2 months prior to short-term expiring if you know you'll be out of work on disability for at least 6 months. Contact the Local 322 office.

Short-Term Disability
Wilson McShane provides a weekly benefit of $450 to qualifying applicants. Please call Wilson McShane to inquire about the benefit by calling 952-851-5788 or visit www.carpentersandjoinersbenefits.com for more information.

T.E.A.M.
TEAM offers many services to members and their dependents completely free of charge. Many standard services include but are not limited to partner's counseling, drug and alcohol counseling, depression and anxiety, grief and loss, etc. TEAM also offers 30 minutes of free legal advice and offers a network of attorneys available at a lower rate. They also help members with identity theft and other financial matters. They are available 24/7 by calling 651-642-0182 and each member has 6 sessions available per year per concern and it is all confidential. Scholarship Applications
Local 322
You must be a senior in high school or already enrolled in a post-secondary accredited program. The parent member of Local 322 must be in good standing with their membership. A minimum GPA of 3.0 required.
Must submit copy of most recent transcripts with application.
